A Safe Place to Take the Next Step

Hope Avenue Twin Cities is a daytime shelter in North Minneapolis built on consistency and community. We meet practical needs while helping guests navigate the next step—whether that’s housing, recovery, or ongoing care.

Stable Support That Lasts

Guests who spend extended time at Hope Avenue are more likely to maintain housing long-term. Consistent routines, familiar faces, and trust make a real difference.

Recovery and Resource Connection

From “Jesus AA” to bible studies and weekly worship services to referrals for treatment, healthcare, and mental health support—we help guests transform their lives.

Open More Hours, Serving More Neighbors

On November 1, 2025, Hope Avenue expanded to seven days a week, 7:00am–3:00pm—offering meals, showers, clothing, recovery support, and connection to needed services. This expanded presence meets a real need in Near North, and it’s sustained by community support that keeps our doors open when demand is highest.
